SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Izmir in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm drawing quality wire rod are at $840/mt ex-works, while its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $980/mt ex-works.
In addition, the producer’s offers for 5.5-16 mm drawing quality wire rod are at $850/mt delivered to Istanbul and its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $990/mt delivered to Istanbul. The offers in question are $20/mt higher than the producer’s previous list prices dated Wednesday, July 6, amid higher import scrap prices.
All the above prices exclude 18 percent VAT and are for cash payments.
