SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a steel producer in Izmir in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5 mm drawing quality wire rod have been issued at $610/mt ex-works, while its offers for 20MnB4 grade have been set at $710/mt ex-works.
In addition, the producer’s offers for 5.5 mm drawing quality wire rod are at $625/mt delivered to Istanbul and its offers for 20MnB4 grade are at $725/mt delivered to Istanbul. Its offers have fallen by $10/mt for all grades amid ongoing currency fluctuations and sluggish demand. All prices are as compared to the offers seen on Monday, January 12.
The mill has reduced its 5.5-16 mm SAE 1010/mesh grade price by $10/mt to $580/mt, while also cutting its 5.5-16 mm SAE 1010/mesh grade-2A price by $10/mt, to $580/mt ex-works in Izmir, as compared to January 12.
All the above prices exclude 20 percent VAT and are for cash payments.
