US rebar mills join in CMC’s price increase

In letters to customers late Friday, Nucor, Steel Dynamics Inc., and Gerdau all announced $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt) increases for rebar, effective with all new orders.

The move follows CMC’s $2.00 cwt. price increase announcement on Thursday, Oct. 28.
