Emsteel, the UAE’s leading steel manufacturer, has announced its rebar prices for July production, continuing its trend of price stability for the sixth consecutive month. This consistency is largely due to the ongoing robust trade in the local market over the past week.
For July, Emsteel’s domestic rebar price remains unchanged at $675/mt (AED 2,480/mt) ex-works. Delivered prices are also stable, standing at $676/mt (AED 2,485/mt) CPT Abu Dhabi and $678/mt (AED 2,492/mt) CPT Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, with payment terms based on a 90-day letter of credit.
Other domestic rebar producers in the UAE are expected to announce their prices soon, though they typically align them closely with Emsteel’s prices.
