Having moved on a soft trend since the beginning of the current week, domestic rebar prices in Turkey have increased today, February 28, and are now standing at TRY 3,060-3,080/mt ex-warehouse, including 18 percent VAT. Following the latest fall of TRY 10-20/mt recorded yesterday, demand in the local Turkish rebar market has recovered slightly and it is noteworthy that prices have changed trend.
On the other hand, Izmir Demir Celik has revised its domestic sales prices today to TRY 2,610/mt ($490/mt) ex-works after selling some rebar at its previous price level of TRY 2,585/mt ($485/mt) ex-works.
Domestic rebar quotations in Turkey have increased by TRY 17-25/mt as compared to SteelOrbis’ report published on February 25.
