Today, November 11, official wire rod prices in Turkey have mostly increased by $10/mt, except for the Iskenderun region where they have remained stable. The main reasons for the increases are the positive sentiment in the import scrap segment and the ongoing currency fluctuations.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are standing at around $560-570/mt ex-works, rising by $10/mt, for cash payment and for serious buyers only.
One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its official wire rod price at $570/mt ex-works today.
