Today, November 18, official wire rod prices in Turkey have mostly remained stable, except for the Iskenderun region where they have increased by $10/mt, amid ongoing currency fluctuations and firm import scrap prices.
According to sources, workable wire rod prices in Turkey are standing at around $560-570/mt ex-works, remaining unchanged week on week, for cash payment and for serious buyers only.
One Iskenderun-based mill has increased its official wire rod price by $10/mt to $580/mt ex-works yesterday.
Most buyers are exerting pressure for further discounts and are only purchase in line with their daily needs.
