Turkish mill Icdas has cut its rebar price by TRY 80/mt since early this week, amid the appreciation of Turkish lira against the US dollar, to TRY 3,300/mt or $405/mt ex-works, with the dollar-based price relatively unchanged. However, next week market players expect weaker pricing, following the downturn in the import scrap segment, SteelOrbis understands.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.

$1 = TRY 6.91
