Turkey's Kardemir succeeds in selling over 40,000 mt of billet

Turkish steelmaker Kardemir opened its local billet sales yesterday, November 24, closing them later on the same day.                                    

Kardemir was offering at $688/mt ex-works for S235JR grade, while S420-B420 grade billet was available at $693/mt ex-works. According to sources, the producer succeeded in selling over 42,000 mt to domestic buyers.
