Turkey’s Kardemir announces its merchant bar prices

Today, July 5, Turkish mill Kardemir has cut its merchant bar prices by $25-50/mt compared to its previous price list on Thursday, June 8, against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations and the negative sentiment in the import scrap segment. Sources report around 7,500 mt of merchant bar have been traded so far. The list prices are shown below.
