Turkey’s Icdas increases its longs prices sharply

Today, September 1, Turkish steelmaker Icdas A.S. has increased its official rebar price on lira basis by TRY 920/mt to TRY 15,255/mt (710/mt) ex-works, compared to Monday, August 22, against the backdrop of higher natural gas and electricity prices and rapid currency fluctuations. The supplier has also raised its wire rod price by TRY 1,140/mt to TRY 16,115/mt ($750/mt) ex-works. The dollar-based prices indicate $40/mt and $50/mt increases respectively over the same period.
