Turkey’s Icdas increases its longs prices by $10/mt

Turkish steel producer Icdas has revised its longs prices today, Monday, April 19, although the Turkish lira-US dollar exchange rate has been relatively stable compared to Friday, April 16. Sources report that the producer has decided to increase its longs prices on the back of the significant rebar export bookings it has concluded. Today, Icdas has increased its rebar price by TRY 105/mt($10/mt) to TRY 5,985/mt ex-works for rebar, while its US dollar-based price has been hiked by $10/mt to $630/mt ex-works. The producer has also issued its wire rod price at TRY 6,840/mt ($720/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 105/mt ($10/mt) over the same period.

Prices on Turkish lira basis include 18 percent VAT, while offers on US dollar basis do not.
