SteelOrbis has been informed that Turkish producer Icdas’ prices of 7-8.5 mm mesh quality and drawing quality wire rod in Biga, Canakkale in northwestern Turkey are at TRY 1,200/mt ($596/mt) + VAT ex-works and TRY 1,225/mt ($609/mt) + VAT ex-works respectively.
The mill’s new list prices have moved up on Turkish lira basis by TRY 20/mt as compared to the price list issued on September 23, though the price increase on US dollar basis has remained limited to $3/mt due to the strengthening of the dollar against the lira.
