Taiwanese billet sale to Philippines

According to market sources, a sale of 10,000 mt of 5SP grade 150 mm x 150 mm billet from Taiwan to the Philippines has been concluded at $558/mt CFR Manila. Market sources report that the price level in question is equivalent to $543/mt FOB or NTD 15,590/mt ($525/mt) ex-works. On the other hand, Taiwanese steel mills are not ready to accept more orders amid rising production costs.
