Markets sources state that Spanish rebar export offers have declined by €5/mt ($7/mt) over the past week and are now at €440-450/mt ($612-626/mt) FOB. Transaction activity is slack in the market and, with Italian rebar export offers also declining by €5/mt over the past week to €435/mt ($605/mt) FOB, buyers are unlikely to accept Spanish offers, market sources say.
