According to market sources, Turkish exporters' rebar offers to the overseas market have decreased by $10/mt week on week to $495-500/mt FOB, following the import deals concluded at lower prices for imported billet and scrap in Turkey during this week, in addition to the sluggish demand situation. However, it is stated that some Turkish rebar producers are willing to be flexible with their current prices if they receive demand.

On the other hand, Turkish producers' rebar offers to the UAE have weakened by $2-5/mt compared to last week and are now at $495-500/mt CFR, on theoretical weight basis. According to UAE-based market sources, some Turkish steel producers have concluded deals with UAE buyers for approximately 30,000 mt of rebar at $495/mt CFR, on theoretical weight basis. In addition, while ex-Turkey rebar offers to Iraq are at $505/mt ex-works, though the price idea of buyers is heard to be in the range of $495/mt ex-works.
