SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Spanish rebar offers to Portugal have increased by €5/mt ($6/mt) on the high end of the price range as compared to last week to €530-535/mt ($663-669/mt) on actual weight basis, for deliveries to customer and for 60-day deferred payments.

While rebar demand has remained sluggish just like previous weeks, local buyers avoid making high volume purchases, though they still conclude deals in line with their needs.
