Rebar prices in local Turkish market

Local producers in the Turkish domestic rebar market had decreased their prices to TRY 1,500-1,520/mt ex-works, including VAT, in the early days of last week. However, towards the end of the same week, they increased their prices to TRY 1,600-1,620/mt ex-works, including VAT. At the start of the current week, the prices in question have decreased again to TRY 1,500-1,520/mt ($1,104-1,119/mt) ex-works, including VAT. It is heard that rebar price levels in this market vary in the range of TRY 1,400-1,450/mt ($1,029-1,067/mt) ex-warehouse, including VAT, among the local traders.

The rebar prices in the local Turkish market are as follows:
