Most producers in Turkey's Marmara region are currently out of the market. It is possible to find prices up to TRY 915-925/mt in Turkey's Payas region. Most of the traders' stocks are full at the moment. Although the winter season this year has been very mild, construction firms seem not to have entered the market yet. Due to the high rebar prices, some of the traders in the domestic market are selling a part of their stocks in order to ensure profit-taking. On the other hand, most traders are trying to maintain their stocks as they consider that the prices will increase further with the accession of the construction firms to the market.
