Rebar in local Turkish market

SteelOrbis is reported that local reinforcing bar prices in Marmara region have seen only a slight upward correction in terms of Turkish Liras, compared to previous levels due to the US Dollar exchange rate movement. Payas region prices remained unchanged. Latest rebar prices according to regions and producers are as follows:

Marmara Region:

Small dia.:   TL 850'000/kg (approx. $483/mt+VAT)
Large dia.:   TL 830'000/kg (approx. $471/mt+VAT)

Payas Region:

Dia. 8–10 mm: TL 830'000/kg (approx. $471/mt+VAT)
Dia 12–16 mm: TL 820'000/kg (approx. $465/mt+VAT)
All TL prices are including 18% VAT. USD equivalents are excluding VAT. 1 USD = TL 1'492'454.-
