Prices decline in local Turkish rebar spot market

According to market sources, demand in the Turkish rebar spot market has remained lively, while prices have declined by $10-50/mt over the past week depending on the region of the country, due to the US dollar loosing strength against the Turkish lira. Tightness in rebar availability has eased a little, while producers have accepted only limited orders as they expect to be able to increase their rebar prices further on the back of rising import scrap prices.

As of today, May 15, traders' rebar offers in the Turkish domestic market are as follows:
