Price roughly stable for Brazilian rebar export offers

Brazilian rebar exports are currently negotiated at $455/mt, comparable with a range of $450/mt to $460/mt two weeks ago, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, for sales to South American countries, a local market source told SteelOrbis.

In the domestic market, rebar is being offered by producers in the South and Southeast region of the country to customers with medium to large volumes at BRL 3,274/mt ($612/mt), ex-works, full taxes except IPI, compared to BRL 3,450/mt one month ago.

Domestic Brazilian rebar offers from producers in the Northern region of the country are approximately BRL 100/mt more, while offers from producers in the Central Western region of the country are approximately BRL 80/mt more compared to producers in the South/Southeast.
