The reference price for Brazilian rebar exports is $1,270/mt, against $1,200/mt two weeks ago, FOB conditions for the CA-50 grade, for sales to South American countries.
In March, Brazil exported 49,500 mt of rebar, in average at $751/mt and imported 14,400 mt of the product at $797/mt, both FOB conditions.
In the Brazilian domestic market, rebar is offered by producers in medium to large volumes at BRL 7,431/mt ($1,495/mt), against BRL 7,200/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI, for the supply in the country’s southeast and south regions.
Small volumes remain offered by distributors at BRL 9,000/mt ($1,911/mt), under the same conditions, considering the CA-50 grade, 10mm thickness product.
