Long products market in Iran

SteelOrbis has been informed that as of December 13, 2007 wholesale prices for Iranian origin longs products in the local market are at the following levels:

All prices are on cash payment basis for prompt shipments.

During the week ended December 16, the Iranian longs market showed a downward trend in most products. Rebar decreased by $5/mt, the profile price decreased by $5-10/mt and square tube saw a $5-15/mt reduction compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, wire rod saw an increase of $5-10/mt due to the shortage of supplies to the market.
