Turkish domestic official wire rod prices have mainly risen by $10/mt, following Icdas' recent longs price hike, except Marmara region where the wire rod prices have currently remained unchanged over the day, the wire rod price range has recently settled at $685-710/mt ex-works. Most of the producers are refraining from additional discounts due to the expected higher energy costs by next week.
Most Turkish mills are offering for January delivery, while a limited tonnage is available from stocks, depending on the size and quality.
One Iskenderun mill has increased its wire rod price by $10/mt to $700/mt ex-works in the afternoon.
