Local Turkish wire rod prices increase significantly

Wire rod prices in Turkey have risen by  $10-20/mt after the Feast of Sacrifice holiday amid stronger scrap prices.

Most Turkish mills are mainly offering for late September-beginning of October production. Demand is livelier after the holiday.

Most wire rod producers have already sold their stocks. As a result, delivery terms are extended, while limited availability of sizes is a long-standing issue facing wire rod buyers.

Currently, the local offers for 6-7 mm mesh quality wire rod are as follows:
