Local Turkish rebar spot prices indicate further slight decline

Due to the weakness of demand in the local Turkish rebar market, to which the appreciation of the Turkish lira against the US dollar has contributed, Turkish traders have reduced their domestic rebar prices today, September 18. Meanwhile, on the same day, Turkish mill Icdas has decreased its 12-32 mm rebar prices by TRY 85/mt to TRY 2,415/mt ($424/mt) ex-works, while Izmir Demir Celik has kept its 12-32 mm rebar prices at TRY 2,458/mt ($429/mt) ex-works, both excluding VAT.

As of today, rebar offers in the Turkish spot market are as follows:
