Today, August 31, Turkish domestic rebar spot prices have mainly increased by TRY 20-30/mt with just minor changes seen on US dollar basis, as compared to Thursday, August 27. Only in the Karabuk region has the rebar price remained unchanged for now. 12 mm rebar prices in the overall local Turkish spot market are now at TRY 3,880-3,900/mt ($447-450/mt) ex-warehouse, depending on the region.
Marmara region-based Icdas has increased its rebar price by TRY 30/mt to TRY 3,950/mt ($455/mt) ex-works today. In addition, most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at TRY 3,920-3,950/mt ($452-455/mt) ex-works.
Izmir Demir Celik (IDC) has also increased its rebar price by TRY 10/mt and is currently offering rebar at TRY 3,930/mt ($453/mt) ex-works, while its price stable on US dollar basis.
In the Iskenderun region, Koc Metallurgy has today increased its rebar price by TRY 20/mt ($1/mt) to TRY 3,950/mt ($455/mt) ex-works. In addition, re-roller ERS has opened its rebar sales at TRY 3,930/mt ($453/mt) ex-works.
In the Karabuk region, Yesilyurt A.S. has increased its rebar price by TRY 30/mt ($2/mt) to TRY 3,950/mt ($455/mt) ex-works. No fresh rebar sales have been heard for now.
