Local Turkish rebar market follows a soft trend

Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish rebar market has continued to be characterized by weakness. Buyers are still adopting a wait- and-see stance as due to the ongoing crisis in the local construction sector. Meanwhile, traders’ prices have decreased by TRY 9-34/mt as compared to SteelOrbis’ report published on January 3, though the prices have increased by $4-8/mt due to currency fluctuations.
