Lack of demand in Iraqi rebar market

Tuesday, 04 March 2014 16:46:09 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul
According to market sources, rebar offers from Turkey's Iskenderun region to the Iraqi market, where demand is low, still stand in the range of $575-580/mt ex-works, indicating no changes since last week. Demand has remained weak because of certain financial problems, such as tightness of funds, which have negatively impacted activity.
