Ex-Turkey rebar deal in Iraq

Market sources inform SteelOrbis that this week in Iraq an ex-Turkey deal has been concluded for 15,000-20,000 mt of rebar produced in Iskenderun at the approximate price level of $603/mt ex-works for late September shipment. Larger volumes of Turkish rebar were sold to Iraq before the Ramadan holiday, while at present rebar demand in Iraq is slightly on the slow side.
