The domestic rebar sales of Turkish steel producer Kardemir are still continuing. On May 8, the producer had revised its domestic rebar sales prices to TRY 1,238/mt ($592/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, having opened its rebar sales on April 18 at the price level of TRY 1,259/mt ($602/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT. Kardemir has attracted orders for a total of 6,400 mt since yesterday. The steelmaker has yet not closed its sales due to sluggish transaction activity.
