As of today, November 18, after selling approximately 35,000 mt Turkish steel producer Kardemir has closed its rebar sales, which it had opened on November 16 with a slight price increase.
As SteelOrbis previously reported, as per its new price list announced on November 16, Kardemir had opened its domestic sales for rebar, increasing its prices by TRY 7/mt ($3.9/mt) to TRY 1,147/mt ($631.5/mt) ex-works, excluding VAT, for 1,000 mt and above orders, with 25 percent on cash payment basis, with 25 percent each on 30-day, 60-day and 90-day deferred payment basis, and with no interest accruing due to payment deferral.
