Exactly one month ago, rebar prices in the Italian domestic market were standing at €480-490/mt ($638-652/mt) ex-works in the Italian market.

Upon returning from summer holidays, local rebar prices are generally positioned at €500/mt ($665/mt) ex-works. SteelOrbis has learned that there are few ongoing negotiations, while some producers announced price increases of €10-20/mt ($/mt). Local sources state that it will take some time for the Italian domestic rebar market to find its trend.
