In the local Italian market, domestic producers' rebar prices have remained stable in the past week at €480-490/mt ($617-630/mt) ex-works. Despite the lack of demand, sources consulted by SteelOrbis believe that prices will maintain current levels.

Meanwhile, Italian mills' rebar export offers have remained virtually unchanged compared to a week ago. Rebar export prices are generally at €455/mt ($585/mt) FOB, while some producers are offering material at €450/mt ($578/mt) FOB. However, foreign demand is very low due to the large volumes of rebar arriving in Algeria.
