Italian producers’ domestic and export wire rod prices

In the Italian domestic market, local producers' prices of drawing quality wire rod have increased by €10/mt ($11/mt) week on week to €430/mt ($490/mt), delivered to the customer. Market sources have also mentioned the possibility of prices being at even higher levels, but this situation has not yet been clarified. In the meanwhile, demand remains stable at medium levels.
 
On the export side, demand is weak, while Italian producers' offers are in the range of €450-460/mt ($513-524/mt) CIF Algeria.
