Although new prices have not gained clear shape, as the Italian market is returning from summer holiday, market players stated that there might be a downward update in rebar price levels due to low demand. The most recent domestic rebar prices in Italy were still standing at €540-550/mt ($783-797/mt) on actual weight basis, for deliveries to customer.

Italian mills' most recent offers to the export markets were at €510/mt ($739/mt) FOB on actual weight basis.
