Price levels in Algerian rebar market

In the Algerian rebar market, where European steel mills have a corner on the market, rebar offers from Italy and Spain are standing at €515-530/mt ($649-668/mt) CFR. According to market sources, local mills' rebar offers in the Algerian domestic market, where demand is weaker than in the same period last year, are at $695-700/mt ex-works, while traders' offers are at $675-695/mt ex-warehouse, excluding seven percent VAT.
