Algeria continues rebar purchases from southern Europe

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Algerian domestic long steel market quotations of rebar are at $750-760/mt + VAT ex-works. This week's rebar offers from Italy and Spain to the Algerian market are standing at $715-725/mt CFR, while demand is quite strong in Algeria. As SteelOrbis has heard from market sources, Algerian buyers prefer to conclude purchases on US dollar basis rather than on euro basis. The latest rebar deals from southern Europe in Algeria have been concluded at $710-720/mt CFR.
