H-beam offer from China to S. Korea

300-450 mm x 300-450 mm x 10 mm x 15 mm size H-beams have been offered for export from China to South Korea at $505-515/mt FOB on actual weight basis via payment by letter of credit for March shipment. SteelOrbis has been informed that the quotation for such items has increased by $5-15/mt compared with last week. The South Korean buyer is reluctant to accept such a price, thinking that prices may come down soon. Currently, sales prices for such items are down a little due to the previous skyrocketing of prices. However, some mills are still pretty sure that the prices will follow an upward trend in the future.
