China origin H-beam offer to S. Korea

2,000 mt of China origin 300-450 mm x 300-450 mm x 10 mm x 15 mm size H-beams have been offered for export to South Korea at $500/mt FOB on actual weight basis via payment by letter of credit for February shipment. SteelOrbis is informed that the quotations for such items has remained uchanged compared with the previous week. Recently, domestic sales prices for H-beams have become stable after the frenzied upward movement of the past several weeks. China's key H-beam producers - Magang, Rizhao Iron and Steel, Laiwu Iron and Steel, and JinXi Iron and Steel - have constantly raised their ex-factory prices, as previously reported by SteelOrbis, which pushed sales prices up. In addition, SteelOrbis has heard that Magang will increase its ex-factory prices by RMB 60-80/mt ($8-10/mt) for H-beams during this weekend.
