According to market sources, Spanish rebar export offers have decreased by €5/mt compared to last week amid the soft trend in the global steel market and are currently at €415-420mt ($469-475/mt) FOB.

Market sources state that import steel demand lacks strength in Algeria, one of the target destinations for Spanish exporters, where buyers are seeking to conclude deals for imported rebar at €440/mt ($497/mt) CFR.
