Over the past week, demand in the local Spanish rebar market has remained slack, while prices have remained unchanged at €480-490/mt ($566-578$/mt) delivered to customer. However, market sources state that Spanish buyers have continued to make domestic rebar bookings only to meet their immediate needs as they consider the current price levels to be on the high side. However, market sources indicate that Spanish producers are willing to give discounts of €5-10/mt for large-volume bookings.
