Rebar export prices from southern Europe rise slightly amid livelier domestic demand

Thursday, 03 December 2015 16:32:34 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul
According to market sources, Spanish and Italian rebar offers to the export markets have increased by €5/mt ($6/mt) over the past week to €315-325/mt ($337-348/mt) FOB, for December shipment. Market players state that domestic rebar demand has increased in Spain and Italy, prompting traders to lean towards the domestic market instead of the export markets and so rebar export prices have increased.
