Ex-CIS billet offers have continued to trend downward. Traders' billet export offers from the CIS are currently being quoted at $505-510/mt FOB.
Meanwhile, in the middle of this week two ex-CIS billet deals were concluded with Turkey via a trader at the price level of $505/mt FOB. The shipment for one of these cargos is to Aliaga Port in Izmir, while the other is to Bartin Port in northwestern Turkey. Billet export offers from the CIS are expected to soften to $500/mt FOB in the coming period.
