Emirates Steel Arkan (ESA), the leading steel producer in the UAE, has announced its rebar pricing for October production. The company has decided to hold prices at unchanged levels, citing stable demand and steady trade activity in the market. Meanwhile, rebar consumption levels in September are reported to be stable compared to the previous month, at around 390,000-400,000 mt.

According to the official announcement, the price for 12-32 mm rebar for October production has remained unchanged from the previous month, at $665/mt (AED 2,442/mt) ex-works. Similarly, rebar offers for Abu Dhabi have stayed at $667/mt (AED 2,450/mt) CPT, and prices for Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates have maintained their stability at $669/mt (AED 2,458/mt) CPT. All of these offers have been issued with a 90-day LC payment term.

While other local rebar producers in the UAE have not yet released their new offers for October, they are expected to follow ESA’s lead and announce stable pricing in the coming days.
