SteelOrbis has been informed that offers from a producer in Turkey’s Aegean region for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $455/mt ex-works in Izmir, while its prices for 20MnB4 grade stand at $560/mt ex-works, both excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payment.
Moreover, the producer’s offers for 5.5-16 mm wire rod are at $465/mt delivered to Istanbul and its offers for 20MnB4 grade stand at $570/mt delivered to Istanbul, both excluding 18 percent VAT and for cash payment. The offers for the two grades in question are $15/mt lower than the producer’s previous list prices announced on January 27.
