SteelOrbis has been informed that an ex-Turkey deal has been concluded in Lebanon for 8 mm rebar at $465/mt CFR. Market sources report that Lebanese buyers have concluded several ex-Turkey deals at the level of $465/mt, though for small tonnages in line with their needs.

On the other hand, Chinese rebar offers to Lebanon are currently in the range of $365-375/mt CFR. Market sources report that several Chinese rebar cargos ordered previously will soon arrive in the Lebanese market. Market players state that demand for Chinese rebar in the Lebanese market is currently at medium levels.
