Baosteel adjusts wire rod prices for March deliveries

On February 10, major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel made adjustments to its wire rod product prices for March deliveries. The price changes are as follows (comparisons are with prices for February delivery):
 
1.     Ultra-low carbon wire rod, low carbon wire rod, and steel cable are unchanged in price.
2.     Spring steel prices are unchanged.
3.     Prices of cold heading steel wire rod and alloyed cold heading steel wire rod are up by RMB 100/mt ($15/mt).
4.     Base prices of high carbon wire rod, PC wire and steel strand are up by RMB 50/mt ($7/mt).
5.     Prices of welding quality wire rod are up by RMB 50/mt ($7/mt).
