According to market sources close to SteelOrbis, rebar prices in Argentina have been static through the month despite the downward shift in the global steel market. Domestic rebar prices are presently reported at $835-850/mt ex-works. Due to the recent international downward shift on raw materials and decreasing import finished steel offer prices, a source warned of downward pressure on domestic rebar prices in October.
